UNM ResidencyOn June 1, 2006 Tricklock Company became the first resident theater company at the University of New Mexico Department of Theatre and Dance thanks to funding and support from the State of New Mexico. As resident theater company, Tricklock contributes to the existing UNM training in theatre and dance and assists in preparing students at UNM for strong, successful careers in the entertainment industry. With so much theatre and film work coming to New Mexico this new creative union is both timely and exhilarating. So, what does this mean to Tricklock? It is an increased opportunity for our resident artists to connect, share, teach, and grow as creators through more constant, direct and ongoing work with UNM students. The residency is made up of several components:
